The "STUBBY" line of Craftsman Industries is designed to address the needs of lathe/automatic screw machine users with the following features:
Small diameter lock nut for machining hard-to-reach surfaces
Shorter shank length than Extensions, ideal for use on lathes and screw machines
Lock nut on DA "STUBBY" is over 30% shorter in length than a standard Double Angle nut, ideal for automatic screw machines
Available for both ER and Double Angle collets
All lock nuts (including ER) can be tightened with any standard open-end wrench
