Wm H. Earley Somerville. N. J. Aqua Colored Blob Top Beer or Soda Bottle

Description

Late 19th century, aqua colored, slug plate embossed blob top beer or soda bottle. It has a pushed up smooth base, embossed with the number 2, and a blob top lip. The front is embossed, in an oval slug plate, WM H. EARLEY SOMERVILLE. N. J with REGISTERED above and REGISTERED below. I can't remember ever seeing that before. THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD is embossed on the back near the base. The glass is loaded with little seed bubbles.  It stands app. 9 1/8" tall. It was recently dug and has stain, scratches/scuff marks, some iron bail residue around the neck, and some little pings. It will look nice on your shelf or windowsill.
